del sol si swap
i used to have a b16 del sol and got stolen so im gonna start all over again.
i found a regular si in good condition. for 1900
i was thinking of either sawping a JDM b16 or a JDM b18.
i got 2,995 what do you guys think i should do? or do you guys know a site where i can buy a b16b for cheap?

im thinking of going the jdm b16 or b18..
one question do you guys think i can just used the del sols regular close ratio transmision on the b18 or the b16? (that way i can save some money)

Use the del sols current B series tranny with a JDM B18 motor, it will blow you away. B16's are still great, but B18's have the low end torque that the B16's dont have.

i'd def go with the jdm GSR motor bro. if you can piece together a swap and go with a b16 tranny. If not you can find a complete swap online/local/classifieds. i would try hmotorsonline.com, extremejdm.com, jdmshit.com. I've used all three of these shops which are local to me and nothing but quality bro.

of course with that same 3K you could get the edlebrock turbo kit and be pushing quite abit more WHP than any of your swap options

If you still want OEM reliability, I suggest putting CTR or ITR cams, and valve springs, retainers, etc.
