did a search but didn't find any info on del sol seat reupholstery. can the del sol seat fabric covers be easily removed like the teg seats? is there a place that u can still find the red stripe on black fabric covers new?

i saw a post that custom shops can probably reupholster them but it's very $$$. any aftermarket companies offer direct replacements? e.g. katzkins (sp?)

Any help is much appreciated!

i heard it's really hard for the shop to rewrap del Sol seats if you decide to take that route

ok, i just went by the honda parts dept today to ask about new seat covers. not surprisingly, u can still order them for like $400+ (the price was for a '97 VTEC seat) for just the driver side!!!

for those interested, another user (thanks rocko!) sent me a link to hparts.com and the listed price is $109.47. i'll probably try to get more details on this, but seems promising.

I tried to have mine recovered, but the shop said that there was not a way because the upholstery is molded to the foam backing. for $400 i think i would just buy a Sparco or Momo in whatever color you want.

yeah, that's what i originally thought too, but after talking to the honda parts department, they said otherwise. i gotta get more details and see if these replacement covers just go over the original fabric or if it actually replaces them.

Just get some 'Wet Okole' seat covers...they look the same to me...lol
