Default *PICS*Del Sol seats in '00 Coupe

What's up. I am sure this has been covered and asked before, but I have been searching and can't find it. I just bought a pair of Del Sol seats and plan to put them in my Coupe. I was trying to find out what needs to be done to put them in. Do I have to swap the rails and if so do they swap easily? Someone please help. Thanks.

yes its a very simple install, you just have to put your civic rails and sliders onto the delsol seat

I'll throw a little more info out there on this one... as I've swapped del sol seats into my last 3 96+ civics... After you swap your stock civic rails (sliders included) over to the del sol seats, I usually like to remove the 'cross wire' (for lack of a better term) that connects the locking mechanism on either rail. Actually, just remove one end (there'll be a small sliding washer that you'll need to slide to the middle of the cable to remove the cross wire from the hole it goes through). Then take a pair of needle nose pliers and move the bend in that wire back (towards the center of the seat) about .5 - .75 inches. What you're doing is creating a little more tension on the 'cross wire' so that you don't have to pull the seat adjusting lever all the way up into the foam of the seat bottom to slide your seat forward or backwards. My roommate says that I'm ridiculously **** and should seek counseling, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to fix this and then how easy it was to adjust my seat position afterwards. Excellent seats by the way.

Yea I used the Del Sol wire. Made a huge difference. I was having trouble with one of the nuts on the outside rail from the Del Sol seat, but I had the wrong size socket. Once I got it, had no problems.

That is pure beauty. I'm definitely going to start shopping for some now. They look so great, and having sat in them, they're awesome.
