Default del sol searching idle

ok i have a 94 honda del sol vtec and i am having problems with my idle bounching from 1k-1500 or 900-1400rpms but ONLY after the car has warmed up. i have changed the fitv, iacv, spark plugs, rotor, cap, vacuum lines, tried different throttle body without the fitv and different map sensor and nothing has worked.

after all that yesterday while the car was doing the searching idle thing i disconnected the iacv and the car idled fine. again brand new part. so this tells me i need to exchange it for another iacv but im not sure. when i look at the new part and the oem part that came on the car the stock iacv there is a small whole where the screen covers and the other hole is big. on the new iacv its opposite where the big hole is under the screen cover and the small hole is just open.

so questions are do i need to replace my iacv again and also does it matter what hole is the small and which one is big?

and if you have any other ideas please let me know cuz its really getting on my nerves. thanks

i tried tapping on both TPS's and didn't change anything. the computer is completely stock the only mods done to the car is cold air intake and a header. nothing else and those were done by previous owner. has 112k miles on the car.

if u can get ur hands on another computer i would try it..although ur is stock..sometimes when the computers get chipped they have what is called honda idle (like what ur experiencing)..the stock one could just be messing with the tps..most cases its either the tps or the computer..other than that im not sure

Hey, I started having the same problem today on my 2004 civic. It only does that when warmed up. No CEL indicated.

I had similar issue few months ago, with CEL, and i fixed it by adjusting the screw. Today, that's not working.
