Del Sol S FRONT Sway bar
The rear sway bar seems to get all the attention on forums, basically the S never had rear bars and the Si early models didn't either. I know for a fact my '95 Del Sol S doesn't have a front bar either. Did the Si come with a front roll bar? More importantly, can I install a front roll bar on my S model? I'm planning on doing a rear disk conversion with GSR or Civic/Del Sol Si rear trailing arms which have the mounting holes for the rear sway bar which makes the rear easier since the S model trailing arms don't have mounting holes. Is the situation similar in the front with a lack of mounting holes? What all do I have to do to put a front sway bar on? I'd really like to add one as I don't like how much my car roles in high speed cornering it can be unpredictable at times do to excessive roll. Its the oldest car I've ever driven and don't like how loose the back and front seem during high speed maneuvering.

Re: Del Sol S FRONT Sway bar
Yes, you can absolutely add a front sway bar. Please take a few minutes and look around, there is some good info on putting a front bar in the car.
However I will list the parts you will need to do this.
Front lower control arms, ( or at least the back half, whole thing is easier)
Sway bar.
Sway bar bushings
Sway bar D brackets
Endlinks.
and the proper hardware which is just the 4 bolts holding the D brackets to the subframe.
The job easy, and very straight forward, however you will need to drop the exhaust and the linkage. the exhaust doesn't have to come out, you just need enough room to wiggle the bar in place.
Also, for the rear you don't need to replace the trailing arms. You need the lower control arms.
