This is a known problem on pre-1995 del sols (seal design was updated in 95). Try some pure silicone grease on the seals to condition them. Make sure its pure silicone grease (dieelectric) not petroleum based grease.
Also, I have a 95 sol and they still leak when it rains hard. Guess thats why they called it "del sol".
Try the grease.

I have the same problem and my power windows are going out so I have to push up on the window to have it go all the way up. Also you'll notice when you take it to the car wash that you may get a bit of water inside. You can also try replacing the weather stripping.

Ill tell u what I did on my 93. Take a vacuum hose and cut to length of windows and seal it on to the top edge. Only thing is u shouldn't roll ur windows completely down or it'll pull off. But atleast it will lighten the leak lol

mine doesn leak and its supposedly a 94.... still need to do the paper work but yea if i were to take the top off could the seal go bad and let leaks in? it sat in the impound yard with the tx sun so im guessing that yea it will leak if i take the top off...
