Hello eeevveerryyone, I just got my first honda (93 del sol si) and loving it, its everything i thought a honda would be, cheap and reliable.

when i got the car it was a total mess, a Medusa of wires hanging from the fuse box, zip tied front bumper, rainbow colors where sideskirts used to be, dirty and ripped seats; so far wires are back in place and it looks normal thanks to spray can paint on the sideskirt holes, i put a s2000 seats an A LOT of armor all made me fall in love with it. now the problem is a oil leak, is nothing big but is annoying me. im no mechanic... im a comedian!!! so this goes for all u honguys..
I washed the engine twice and oil keeps building up in that section.

what goes there? what seal do i have to buy? is that normal for hondas?
im not used to fwd and small engines.

If you remove the distributor cap, do you also find oil inside the distributor? Or is the oil only on the exterior of the distributor? If the oil is restricted to the exterior, then replace the O-ring at the base of the distributor. I recommend that you purchase the O-ring from Honda.

funny, im afraid to touch it! i have only inspected it from outside, ill do as soon as there is some light tomorrow, where are those instructions from? i need to get that asap... also i found its hard to find anything good for del sols, why is that? no luv for the sol?
