i replace the leaky oil seal for the dizzy to the head, and i have a smaller oil leak from within the dizzy. where the dizzy meets the head is dry, but the area where the cap bolts to the dizzy is still wet, and i am positive i cleaned it all out. is there a shaft seal or anything for within the dizzy i can work on? or do i have to buy an entire dizzy? this is a 1993 del sol si. d series motor. this oil leak drips onto the hose below the dizzy even! the valve cover and grommets replaced , and the corners where the gskt meets the cam humps were hondabonded. help!!!

Yes, there is an internal seal. Yes, you can buy just the seal. It's fairly basic, just some screws, but pay attention to what you are doing. Also, the screw can be a pain, so get them the first time and don't strip them. Finally, you know how the dizzy can only go in the cam one way....well, when you take apart the dizzy to replace the seal I would set things to TDC. The reason for this is that the off-set end of the dizzy that goes into the cam can be 180 degrees out once the cylindrical pin is removed. If you put it back together and you are 180 out, remove the male end from the dizzy and spin it 180 and then put it back in ( I don't mean spin the dizzy 180).

is there a how to on this? does anybody know what the part number is, the dealer by me is very not friendly at finding little cheap parts. so from what i understand, i take out the dizzy, take the drive that plugs intot he cam off, then the shaft slides out, and the seal is then easily replaceable? if there is any photos out there anyone has or anything i would appreciate it. i dont want to dissassemble it and then not know where a wahser or sumhing went, and then i cant drive
