Default del sol ls vtec timming questions

Im running a 96 gsr head on a 97 b18b block the head has been slightly milled (just resurfaced) and a two layer head gasket, curious to know if anyone has a similar set up or same setup with insight into cam timming, im running skunk2 two pro cam gears to allow for some adjustment, any input would be greatly appreciated, since this is a new build and i want to work out all the kinks and get the most out of this build.

Get the cam gears adjusted on a Dyno, thats the ONLY WAY to do it.
If you can do it now, run a couple Deg. Advance on each to make up for your deck height change (little more on the intkae side)
Example 2 & 3 deg adv.
Then set your ign. timing.
Dont go nuts with advance, it wont make any mroe power and you can make things ugly.
Cheers
Steve
