i think delsols with a 7 inch drop are SICK as hell. they look like no other car on the road, and if you are pushing 400 hp in one, damn they look good zooming away

how many horse r u pushin
would it be hard to hit 14's with the dohc vtec
what does the dohc vtec run stock

DOHC should be able to hit 14's very easily.
Think about it this way, I had 125 stock and the dohc has 160 stock. I'm pretty close to that mark, so you should be able to hit that no problem.

my friends doing low 13's with a gs-r motor and a 50 shot of nos. it's not all that bad and they do look alright. his motors unbuilt so it's not an eg6 or anything, but it's still different and allows for not as much competition on times i guess.

Re: Del Sol good car bad car ? (Vspec Sol)
I have a VTEC Sol.
I pay around $120 a month in insurance.
Car payment is $180, I paid $14,000 for the car.
I G-Tech'ed it stock and ran a 15.56.
Haven't run it since (just I/H/E). I'm hoping to dyno soon just to get some base numbers, I'll let you know if I do.
As for getting it into the 14s, it'll be no harder with a del Sol VTEC then it would with a GSR or 6th Gen Si.

are the dohc vtec hard to find what years did they make them
Depending where you live, how much you want to pay, and what condition you want, they can be pretty tough to find.

JUN Cam?? I was just on the JUN site, and there's no mention of D16Z6 parts on there at all. Only B16A, B16B, B18C, and H22A.
