Default del Sol exhaust

What exhausts fit on del sol's? ive been trying to find them. Im trying to decide between the DC sports normal or twin loop or HKS super Dragger. I know the DC's will be quiter, but i dont know which sounds better. (better=deep but not to loud IMO.) how can i but one of these on my sol, do they make them? or can i buy a system for a dif car then modify it like a 92-95 hatch? All opinions on the sounds of the exhaust systems and which one fits or how to make them fit? which ones add better HP? thanks alot

The Draggers I've heard sound pretty buzzy and annoying. I haven't heard the DC, but I've heard that the tone is pretty good--if they're knocking off the Mugen idea correctly, then it should sound great.

I have a Trust (GReddy) SP on my VTEC sol and it has by far IMO one of the best exhaust notes I've heard. Perfect for a daily driven car. Sometimes though I miss the very decieving blank silence of the stock exhaust and AEM combo. It was real quiet, then all of a sudden came a very nice roar whenever it switched over.

Wait a minute!!! B16A3, you have a exhaust for a hatch on your Sol??? I was told for the longest time that they were not interchangeable. What generation hatch are we talking here?? Did the exhaust bolt right up, or did it need any modification???

I have the Kakimoto R cat back exhaust for my DelSol. It is straight from Japan and it is fully stainless steel. The only problem is that I have to modify the test pipe to have it fit. Because the cat in Japan DelSol is shorter. Still the only DelSol in the city have this exhaust!! Talk about rare!!

Yeah its from a 92-95 hatch, its not a straight on bolt on. You have to cut off about 6 inches of the mid pipe and then its perfect

I had the GReddy on my del Sol when I owned it. Very good sound to it. Why not get a universal muffler or something that you like and have the piping made? I had my 2.5 inch piping on my EK made for 60 bux.

B16A3, you wouldn't happen to have any pic's of your modified exhaust thats now on the Del Sol, would you? I am getting a different exhaust and my girlfriend wants my Tanabe G-Power Medallion. Where about do you need to take of the 6"? And is it 6" exactly?

yea what did the b16a3 come in anyway, i thought that b16a1 was the crx/civic/integra xsi (jdm) motor, and the b16a2 was in the del sol vtec and the 99-00 si's. then the b16b came in the civic R....when did the a3 come in?

b16a3 94-95delsol vtec, only usdm obd1 b16 motor
b16a2 96-97delosl vtec and 99-2000Si obd2
there is no such thing as a b16a"1" the 1 was never stamped, jdm bseries motors dont have numbers at the end of their engine codes
