DEL SOL DOME LIGHT & SHARP TURN
I have a 94 delsol si and it is mostly stock. I was wondering when i go around a turn hard or if i slam the steering wheel sharply, my dome light inside the car comes on. Was wondering what makes this happen and how do i disable it or take it off??? Any input greatly appreciated

bingo, happens all the time to a lot of sols. get some strut bars in there to stiffen that chassis up.

Re: DEL SOL DOME LIGHT & SHARP TURN (dohcdelsol)
Mine started doing that for a while. I discovered that the door striker (the U-shaped thing on the door jamb) was loose. It's held in place by two #3 philips screws, and you can move it around before you tighten it down. If you move it further inboard, the door will close more tightly against the light switch, and it will be less likely to flicker.
I don't have my Helms handy, but the torque spec on those screws is pretty high, for a philips head. It would re-loosen if I used a screwdriver. I ended up using a phillips bit on my torque wrench.
