Del Sol Dash into Civic
Is it possible to swap a del sol's dash into a 94 ex coupe. I looked at a delsol dash and from the looks of things, you wouldn't have to modify the door panels or anything to get the del dash into a 94 civic. Can anyone give me any insight about this?

Re: (littleredcivic)
Drifting is for FF cars if you go fast enough.
I hit an intersection at 80 down shifted to 3rd and cut the wheel.. gave it gas and corrected my steering to keep me from tipping or catching a wheel on a curb....
aside from shattering my csx3 airfreshner on my passenger window, when it popped off the dash.. I drifted the frickin intersection... inside lane to the far lane.
4 lanes, a couple hundred feet.
Tires sqealing the faint smell of burnt rubber and shattered squash smell is quite satisfying.
BTW: dont do that **** when people are on the roads... its dangerous

i looked at my sisters del sol again. the dash length from the windshield to the center of the dash coming towards the passenger compartment is way different. i think that you would have to trim or refab some part of the dash to put it in a civic. you will also notice that the center console on a sol is much higher than an eg.

Based on this, I am going to call it non-feasible with my skill. Once I get to look at one again, I will look a little closer at the dimensions and go from there. Thanks All for the help. If I decide to do it, I will just bring this thread back.

Re: (nitrared)
I have seen it done. The fit is not as good as you would think. Here is a pic.

Re: (thirst)
you could always go with an Integra dash, I think they almost are a direct fit (not 100% sure) but they do fit in a eg civic and look realy good in my opinion.
That Del Sol dash was pretty clean by the way.

Re: (jayare05)
I'm glad to see that this didn't turn into another "why do you want that, thats gay" or "thats stupid and not worth it y0" thread. Everyone keep up the info. Anyone know if del door panels will bolt right on to the eg door without modifications? Or do you have to mod them? Thanks

I doubt that the del sol panels will bolt up to a civic door, I used to own one and remeber the doors being much shorter from top to bottom than the civic ones. May be wrong? Anybody have comparison pictures, or the ability to get both panels side by side?
