Default Del sol D15b7 engine bog and idle issue

I recently changed the oil and spark plugs on my del sol since it was in dire need for me to do so. After I i gapped at the recommended .044 and installed them, my car began to bog and finally kick in at 2500 rpm. When I pulled the car into the driveway even the idle began to act up a bit.

The car didnt have any signs of this prior, and the spark plugs that were on there were really worn. What CAN the new issue be? Thanks.

P.S I just replaced with autolite copper plugs

Since you only changed oil and spark plugs to get this bog, I would have to say that you have issues with your plugs, or maybe you damaged a spark plug wire in process.

FYI, Hondas run best on NGK or NipponDenso plugs. I suggest strongly that you pull the Autolite set out and replace with the Jap plugs instead. As an added bonus, Jap plugs come pregapped, so you don't have to screw with gapping them.

Ah thank you. You could be right since the wires do need to be replaced as well. I will remember to get NGK once I know the car is worth putting some money into.

One more thing, It had an idle issue prior and had to adjust the screw on the throttle body to fix it before I replaced the plugs. would this cause a bog issue?

Any others have an idea what could be causing this? Ive recheck the gap, Everything is seated, Cleaned the MAP sensor connector and dont see any visible damage on the wires or other vac lines. I just find it odd that this is acting up after doing something to prevent it from driving like this.

Ok, So i did catch a vac whistle, and its coming from where the master cylinder meets the brake booster. Ive read that its common for the seal/gasket to go bad so while I was removing the bottom nut on the master cylinder, the damn bolt snapped! Im guessing cross thread.

So my NEW question is, Am I stuck buying a new brake booster on top of the MC gasket?

BTW, Thanks for all the help, If you cant tell I a honda newb
