Hey all,

my buddy has a del sol with a b16a3 in it. however, it has been getting harder for him to start it over the past couple months. It would crank and crank before actually starting. Now, it cranks over, but VERY SLOWLY and nothing happens.

Before, it would crank over slowly, but eventually start up and be fine. Now it is not starting at all. Just cranking slowly.

if the car is not cranking at normal speed then you need to check the battery, alternator, and also check for power at the starter solenoid. it has to be something in the charging system or start causing the car to not crank properly. checking all grounds is another good step.
