Default del sol bumber (front)

hey guyz... i ramed the front bumber into a huge curb ... scratched the hell out of the paint on the front bumper and put deem scratches.. (no dents - or cracks - thank god) - the front bumber is not sitting properly now and i think it needs to be completely taken off and put back on again... its not meeeting the fenders properly on either end...

can someone point me to a diy guide on how to remove the bumber.. what tools i'll need... and while i have the bumber off.. is there anyway i can repaint? sand? and fix up that huge scratch ? or do i have to get it done professionally?

thanks in advance
ca

The english language is taking you to court.

And the search function is quite helpful on this site. Just make sure you set it to archived threads, and posts insted of titles.

Dude shut up, I can understand him just fine he misspelled a few words big deal. If you don't have anything worthwhile to add don't reply and go to the general forum we don't need people like you in here.

To the original poster its pretty easy.
Open the hood there's about 6? screws there you want to take out the ones with the quarter sized heads. Be careful not to strip them.

Now under the fenders in the wheel well area there's a screw on each side you can get at by going under the liner.

There's also a screw or two from the bottom of the care that needs to come out as well. Should be a standard screwdriver (GREEN handle in my set) for the top ones and a number 10mm for the rest.

Install is reverse of the removal. While its off check the inner bumper for dents if its dented that will cause your bumper to not fit properly and hang off to the side.

Also you would probably be better off getting it professionally done somewhere else if you don't know how to do it yourself. It shouldn't be that much since its off the car. Just make sure your really careful putting it back on so you don't peel the paint because it will be Extremely easy.

Taking the bumPer and on is self explanatory bro, 2 bolts on each corner and the middle plastic screws under your grill

With no experience in bodywork id have it professionally fixed...but if you think you can swing it, it never hurts to learn on your own either

Nah I was being an *** to you cause I thought you were yelling at him cause he couldn't type English when he had one word misspelled.

By all means the search comment is warranted, but instead of posting search you damned noob all the time I well ok I say search too and then I tell them to kill the thread in theory because you know everyone else wants to get there post count up and blah blah blah

So if you were just saying to search you fricken green noob then my apologies
