Does anyone have the engine code, and the specs to a 97 base del sol? Thanx

if you are talking about a USDM Del sol, there are not any after 96. So assuming that yours is a 96 than you have the D15B7. 108 hp SOHC piece of crap.

if you are talking about a USDM Del sol, there are not any after 96. So assuming that yours is a 96 than you have the D15B7. 108 hp SOHC piece of crap.
Actually that's not true.

The del Sol was available in the states from 93-97, and in Japan from 92-98. The VTEC sol with the b16a was available from 94-97 in the US, and 93-98 in Japan.

The base '97 model would have the same motor as what is in the DX civics, the 1.6 SOHC non-VTEC, with, yes, 108hp.
