Del Sol automatic to 5speed

is it a bad idea to make my automatic transmission into a 5 speed? if i do what problems will i encounter??

I did it to my ej1 it took a whole day with 1 of my buddies. Its just the parts and patience thats the hardest part. The swap is actually kind of easy just time consuming.
