Default Del Sol Amp placement

I know this should probably be in the audio thread, but not only is that threat rarely used, but I thought i'd have a better chance with other del sol owners. I was thinking the wall between the trunk and cabin (on the trunk side), would be the best place to mount my amp. But it's all metal there right? You're not supposed to mount an amp to metal, so how would I go about doing this? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I just got a stealthbox so that's out of the question unfortunately. The rear wall is the perfect size for the amp and that's where I want to put it. I've seen some Sol's with an amp in that same location but im not too sure how to go about mounting it since it's metal there and I also want to be aware of the rear window going down the track.

How big is the amp? Stick it under the seat.

This is how mine's fit:

Made a custom wooden plate, screwed it to ABS computers' frame and just screwed the AMP to the wooden plate.
Hope this gives you any ideas

I would at least make sure you use 3/16" steel rivets to secure it. Lots of sticky fingers these days...

Yeah that's exactly what I wanted to see thanks guys. That's gotta be some thick wood though in order for the screw from the amp not to attach to the ABS computer frame huh?
