Hi people, I have a Del Sol 95 S and I made the Brakes upgrade front and rear for a 96 Integra plus the Booster and MC.... I was reading a lot of info about the prop valves.. so finally understand the purpose, my question is simple how to identify whether it is a 4030 or 3030 or 4040.... is there a mark... a code... (not oem part code which of course will be different) I found this pic on the web as reference to see if is accurate those marks
Thanks for the info.... I take a look on my car a few minutes a go and the marks are 2525.... I gotta get the 4040 one...
This is where prop vales get funny.
A Del Sol VTEC, which has the exact same brake set-up as an Integra, doesn't have a 4040 prop valve. It uses the 2530 in your pic above.
There are 3040 prop valves on Civics with rear disc and rear drum.
If you are going to change the prop valve why not go the same route as Honda and put one on from a Del Sol VTEC? It's more likely to be the better prop valve for the job.

Jumm.... you got me on that one... well... I think its about different aspects such as the weight, distance between wheels... things like that I assume.
Well I'm gonna get the 2530 and a 3030 if I feel some improvement I keep going up until get the best set up possible.... Thanks for your help was really good
