Default 99 Civic Ex isn't starting

Recently been having trouble with my car. My car battery keeps getting drained could this be caused by my distributor? I think it went bad. Its an aftermarket one.

Maybe more like your alternator not charging your battery properly.

Distributor will not do that.

The first check to make is to measure the voltage at the battery with the car running to see if the charging system is working.

Ditto the above, check voltage at batt. with engine off then running, must be done with fully charged batt., if good, about 12.5 not running and no more then 14.5 when running.

If good, do a parasitic drain test.

To do a parasitic drain test all you need is a 12V test light, [not the LED type] disconnect the neg. batt. lead and connect the test light ground to the batt. cable and the test light probe to the batt. post, test light is in series

Make sure everything in car is off, if the test light lights up you have a parasitic draw, something is staying on and drawing power, you will need to find it, pull fuses, one at a time, until test light goes out and you have found the circuit 94

I havent test the voltage on battery but yesterday I had just picked it up from autozone so I dont think the battery is the problem, now I did test for parasitic draw and the test light does light up when I touch ground terminal with ground post on the battery. Also yesterday when I picked up the battery from autozone I put it back in my car and I got the same no start crank issue.

Sounds like you have more then one problem.

When you say no start, what do you mean?

Engine cranks but will not start or it will not even crank?

MM&Y of car and auto or 5speed? 94

Default No start but cranks

My 1999 Honda Civic Ex isn't starting

It all started one day when my car wouldn't turn on my battery had been drained so i took my battery to my local autozone and they charged it for me and when I got the battery back I put it in my car and car started right up ran it for 20 mins and then parked it. Well the next day I try to turn my car on and it wouldn't start so I decided to take the battery one more time to autozone to get it charged and again I put it back in my car but only this time the car didnt fire up. I checked my battery with my multimeter and I'm getting 12.2 volts. I checked to see if I'm getting a drainage with my test light and I'm getting zero drainage. At this moment I'm confused.

What should be the next thing I look into? Thanks in advance

Check your main grounds, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine, DO NOT just eyeball them, disconnect/clean/reconnect. 94

Check them all.
Especially the tranny to chassis one. T4, engine ground cable B.
If its green or corroded, it will give u issue.

Maybe a dead cell in the battery? is it old ? or the alternator isn't charging battery.

Do you have fuel, can you hear the fuel pump priming hen you turn on the ign., pump should run for a few sec. then stop? 94

My fuel is a bit low but I dont think that can be the cause of it anyhow I will put some in just to check that off the list. As for the fuel pump I do hear it prime

Check for power at the injectors, with ign. in both the run and start positions, you can unplug the exciter lead from the starter to prevent engine from cranking while testing. 94

I also forgot to mention that I checked my fuses underneath the dash and when I went over the starter switch fuse which is a 7.5 it wouldn't light up my testlight could that possibly be the cause?

This all started after a rained about a week and a half ago.

There's no dash fuse for the starter. Post a picture of the fuse in the fuse box.

If you mean fuse 31, it provides a starter signal to the ECU. It only gets voltage with the key in ON(III).

Could it be my timing belt? If so how could I check it without having to remove alot of parts?
