Default Decided on swap.

Well, as my last post said, after searching for months I finally have my eg! Now I'm ready for a swap, as it's just the 70 horse cx. I decided to go with a b18c as opposed to the k20 due to budgeting. Anyway, the question is, should I just get a c1 with some bolt on's, or build it up a little bit before dropping it in, I intend on boosting it once I get back from deployment. This is my first import, but i've done a few camaros and of course my mustang before, but neither were turbo's obviously. So any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

As long as you don't NEED the car (daily driver), take your time and build it.

Well, I just sold my backup car, but the hatch still runs fine, just with the d15. The only thing about building the engine is that I live on a ship, so I don't really have a space to build. We have a "hobby shop" where I do all the work at but you can't store anything overnight there and an engine build would definately be more than a one day event.
Other than that, does anyone know where I can get a b18 on the island? We don't have any junkyards in Hawaii and shipping is crazy expensive, unless I can get a good deal on the price of a used one, once again any help is appreciated. Thanks.

mm plenty of threads out in HT right now to find out what swap works best for you... try the All motor thread, use that as your guide.

Ask BlueintegraBoy. He's in Hawaii and he knows what's going on.
