"goof-off" eats up adhesives well
u can also use wd-40, rubbing alcohol, razor works good too <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> i had to get decals off of work trucks before (company trucks), best technique we find is just using your finger nails. goo gone to clean up |
Re: decal removal (void_accord)
On a very hot day make the sticker face the sun, it will get hot and soft enough and will peel of so easily, if there is any glue residue try windex, rubbing alcohal, or goo-gone.
Today I just peeled of stickers in the sun, what a breeze. |
Re: decal removal (Alex804)
peel it off doesnt matter day or night. but afterwards I would strongly advise you have goo-gone and use it. goo gone is the sh*t https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: decal removal (EM199dcs)
I used "goo gone" before on my old civic and it damaged my paint.
I found the best thing that works is wd40 and your finger, maybe a hair dryer(won't hurt). https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif |

Re: decal removal (scuzz)
Steam gun/cleaner FTW. Melts the glue so you can easily peel it off. Great for removing tint as well. Done it many times. Hope this helps https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

goo-gone

Heat gun/hair dryer. and plastic razor blade,But be careful not to burn out the hair dryerif you use one.

i used a hair dryer and my fingernail. denatured alcohol will take off the adhesive and your wax. make sure you re wax the area.
