Re: deal or no deal?
Unless its from Japan or the UK, that car can't be a '92. USDM Del Sols begin in 1993. Just a heads-up.
Trying to source Del Sol parts isn't as easy as a Civic. If you enjoy working on cars, then this would be a good learning experience. The vibration is not normal, but that doesn't mean it is hard to fix, it could just be that the wheels are unbalanced.
Otherwise, I am tempted to say skip this and try to find a different car. Especially if you didn't even have your heart set on a Del Sol.

Re: deal or no deal?
thanks for the reply, i found some stock front bumper for like 30 bucks and replacement headlights for pretty cheap as well, my question is do u think i can easily resell this car when i need to? also should i replace the steering wheel with an aftermarket one. The steering wheel is in horrible condition but iono if replacing it would effect resale value. thanks. This is a temporary car in which i intend on learning and reselling as soon as i can afford an upgrade

it will sell man after you fix it up a lil make it look good you get like 3k for it or more. you could probably even trade the del sol for a CRX ahaha maybe get a lil cash on top too. look for a stocc CRX though its best to get a stocc car cuz you kno watchu doin to it

Re: deal or no deal?
should i look into auto>manual swap or would that be a waste of time/money? also should i change the steering wheel? the stock one is all metal with only rubber on the bottom. im thinking about ebay aftermarket hub set. not sure if the ebay wheel will depreciate the value or prevent ppl from buying it due to safety

Re: deal or no deal?
What you're going to spend making that car manual and fixing everything, you could probably find a 92-95 model Civic, or just wait around and get a CRX. There aren't many, but if you check the classifieds here you might be able to find one. What region do you live in? Maybe someone here can help you out.
If you need an OEM wheel, check a junk yard or put up a want ad here. Some of us, including myself, have our old wheels lying around.
