dead pedal...again after bleeding

Default dead pedal...again after bleeding

i had a dead pedal, on the floor like 3 weeks ago.and i bled it and it was fine. then now 3 weeks about later it goes dead on teh way to school? i bled it again and hopefully it last tonight, whats wrong?

um, leak? you got rear drums? most likely place its leaking.

brake or clutch?

while the car is sitting lay on and off the brakes, after that look on the ground for fluid.

inspect around the master cylinder, especially inside the car above the clutch pedal and inside the engine bay around the resevoir and master cylinder. If no leaks there, then move onto the slave cylinder.

Remove the dust boot off the tranny and see if you see any leakage. You may need to pull the actuator rod out of the slave cylinder to inspect.

You can get slave cylinder rebuild kits for like 10 bucks at NAPA....or a master cylinder from a junk yard
