Default dead headlights

i know i will probably get flamed for this but here it goes

im driving around at night and i didnt see a puddle, as i drive through it water my headlights go out. my turning signals work, my taillights still work, and everything else works fine, i checked my fuses and they are fine. could it just be that their is a little water in a connection? would it fix itself overnight or do i need to go at it with a hair dryer or sumtin.

getting water in the connection can kill the bulbs?

and another question, i was looking at one of the connections and it looks like it was a little melted, could their be enough electricity to melt it without blowing a fuse

Yes that connector is hot, It is a possibility that it melted. Replace that and the bulbs. What ever you do don't touch the actual bulb.
