Default dead batteries, cut wires and constant draw..what gives??

ok, lets see if anyone has an idea on this.

ive got a 95 dx that i just swapped a z6 into. (the car previously had a z6). the entire time ive had the car the starter would not engage with the key, it was wired to a toggle switch that was run right to the positive terminal.

after this swap, the car started chewing through batteries, draining 2 of them out on me. there is a lot of amps being drawn with the car off. last time i had it running it literally died on me about 2 min later. i had to jump it and as soon as i turned the lights off it died again.

i brought the alternator to autozone and it tested out fine with no problems.

so last night i took the dash out and found 2 things.

1) 2 cut wires behind the fuse box. a green/red and green/white i think they are for the clutch switch because there is no plug for it.

2) the starter relay was not plugged in. i found an extra plug in the harness that fits, but the colors of the wires are different than outlined in the helms.

so, would any of this contribute to the batteries dying? id assume it has to do with the alternator, because once the car is started it runs on the alternator output....

already did, starter is new as well. i honestly think the starter relay is bad, but im having trouble justifying that to be my electrical draw

alright, problem solved.

in the new harness i got, the wire that goes from the alternator to the fusebox to charge the system was cut and put back together with a shitty crimp connector that came apart. i couldnt see it because it was under the wire loom, and kinda found it out by accident i moved the wire harness looking around the it just split apart.

moral of the story, if you dont have a ****ing clue of how to properly work on a car, dont try and modify it.
