DC2 seats into EG sedan-- odd seat position.
I bought some dc2 seats and installed them in my civic sedan. They bolted in but I had to force down the 2 bolts closest to the doors. Is this supposed to happen?
Finally sat in them and for some reason the outside bolster of the seats are leaning back while the inner bolster is forcing itself forward into the dash.
Should I switch out the rails with my civic rails?
BTW I an not a EG enthusiast. Thanks in advance!!

Sometimes the rails are a little bent. Finally got my CTR rails in today for my recaros and they were a little cockeyed. Nothing a bench vise can't fix. Just played with it until they bolted right in no problem.
And I mean bending the entire rail assembly long ways.

You could switch the inner rails if you really wanted to, but that would be more work IMO. I kinda had the same problem about a month ago. Try to line up all the holes and barely screw each one in. Then tighten all of em evenly. if you tighten one all the way then it'll have an odd seat position, or look that way. It took me about an hour, kinda a pain but definitely worth it! lumbar support FTW
