Default DC2 Mugen Air Box & cleaner into my Mugen Del Sol project w/AC, question ?

I'm trying to make the decision of either bending my AC lines to fit this air box, which is tough and the risk of snapping the lines are high or just yanking out the whole AC system, any suggestions ?

a/c Besides, its winter time, who needs the a/c! Just pull it out. Maybe in the summer you might have a different setup and could throw your a/c back in....

Make sure you don't get rid of the torque mount or your motor will be jumping around like crazy. And to all of you guys without A/C wtf do you do when your windows start to fog up?

There was another guy on here with a DC2 that got the Mugen airbox, and he also had A/C. He managed to get it all hooked up while keeping A/C too. If I remember correctly, he made a long metal bracket, unbolted the A/C lines from their original bracket, moved them out of the way just enough, and then bolted them in place using the custom bracket. Do a search and you should find it. He had pics too.

I read that, he used zip ties, but the DC2 & EG2 are slightly different when it comes to the AC. I'm goin' now to purge the freon @ a shop... Thanks H-T !

No more AC... New problem though... Still can't install the DC2 Mugen Air box due to my radiator and fan shroud being in the way. On my way to the JDM junkyard in SD to get an EG6 stock radiator, I know its slimmer than my Koyo...

And that is the exact problem we ran into on my buddies del Sol with the Mugen N1 spec B16B. The fan was directly in the way, as was the overflow.

The radiator fan is just going to be blowing hot air right onto the intake ducting, defeating the purpose. He ended up just bolting on an AEM until he can figure out what he wants to do.

I was able to get in with a JDM EG6 Rad w/ fan. The fan doesn't seem to be blowing hot air onto the box, so its all good. A buddy of mine recommended that mount the fan in front of the rad, but I'll roll around the way it is now...
