dc2 front brakes on eg
I have a 94 civic hatch with a d16z6 swap (auto to manual conversion) I purchased 94 up integra front spindles/brakes. I replaced the lower ball joints and replaced the wheel bearings and studs (also swaped the brake master and booster from the same integra). my question is what axles do I used because I have new d-series axles and it doesn't seem to be seating properly, I can not get the axle nut to tighten flush and this is on both sides or could I be using the wrong hub (using the hubs from the integra)? any help would be greatly appreciated....

The axle should fit just fine without issue. Something else is wrong.
What do you mean you cant get it to sit flush.

Rotors same size, pads have like a millimeter more surface area and the piston in the caliper is slightly bigger.
If I were OP and wanted bigger brakes, I would've just bought loaded calipers off of an EX, then picked up some rotors, and bolted them right up.

piston.... that's the word, not pin but piston. Was the part I was thinking about when I said pin.

EX 2dr Non-ABS = 54mm pistons, but huge pads
Integra = 57mm pistons, but small pads
EG's with ABS have the same calipers & pads as the integra.
MarylandEG, yes something is wrong. Integra parts are a direct swap with D-series axles. They should have gone right in. Perhaps you have the wrong hubs. The problem is, taking them out will effectively ruin the new wheel bearings. Try to figure out exactly what the problem is before you take everything apart.
