Default DC2 Dash in 96 CIVIC EK...

I just bought a 98 ITR dash with everything and i want to swap it into my EK hatch...but as i took my ek out and tried to put the DC in, it doesnt fit just right...it seems like i have to cut but im not sure...first time ever doing this..i already got the cluster wired in right...so all i need to do is get the dash to fit...any help anyone???????!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Also someone said ITR seats bolt right up to a 96 civic EK...well thats not true, there is a gap between the back rest and seat...so anyone know how to eliminate that problem? any advice is appreciated.

The dashboard will not fit right on the ek, how come you didnt just buy the 99-00 dashboard? Also, the seats wont fit perfect either. You might have to use the skeleton from your ek seats and re-wrap it but it wouldnt look right

Swap rail for the seat, only one side is different. As for the dash, I never seen it done in EK or EM, you still have the picture???

I saw here it here in town...a yellow EM had it in there...and theres a black EG that converted his....It just sucks cuz i spent forever trying to get it in and it didnt work and i wanna know how it was done....and the seats...are the rear seats not the front two....so i think i will recover my stock one or buy a CTR

ooo opps, that's why you say gap, you need the 4dr integra bottom cuhion to make it perfect many people done it before. You should go ask whoever have the yellow EM :D

I've done the dc dash in an eh hatch before and wasnt too hard. Theres all Kinds of info on here to put it in 92-95 civics. I now have a 96 hatch and wanted to do it but only found like 1 guy on here that had it in with the dc door panels but he said it was way too hard and not worth it in his opinion. He ended up taking it back out for the stock dash.

Good luck if you do it and be sure to post pics
