DC SPORT civic si 99-01 header on gsr??????????
ok heres the deal i bought a header that i was told was for a b18 but turns out its for a b16. when putting it on it fit fine on the head but the bracket near the cat wouldnt fit. So we torched it off. Now it fits fine , no exhaust leak but the header is vibrating off the oil pan. SO I NEED HELP!!!! is having this header on restricitng power that i would have if the header was for a b18? Is it bad that the header is snug against the oil pan?? or is this really not a problem i need help and i need it quick becasue im leavin for school again in a few days and if i need to change them out or order something i need to do it TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

im just trying to be creative here so i DONT KNOW disregard what i say if u want.
to stop the vibrating, i think u could put some of that 3 layer sillicone **** on it, or even heat wrap just wrapping your header where it touches the oil pan.

It's not instant death or anything, but I don't know that having an extremely hot exhaust manifold less than 1/4 inch from your oil pan cooking your oil is a good thing.

Re: (Falqon)
tru thats what i thought . im going to wrap it with heat wrap and see if that will insulate it enough to stop the vibing and not cook the friggin oil
