Default DC headers vs imitaties

Alright fellas..

Whats the real deal with the DC's compared to these pretty much exact replicas?

I just purchased a 4-1 header for my b16a2... Seems to be the same thing as the dc's

If for any reason it is a bad purchase and i should spend another 150 for the name... fill me in now
¿?

thanks

I have a DC 4-2-1 header for my Si and it gave very noticeable gains from 5500 to the rev limiter. Well worth every penny. Ordered from http://www.overboost.com for 383 shipped. Its stainless steel

my SiR-G exhaust manifold outperformed the DC I had tried on my car. The Header I got was from a b16 also. The only difference is the brackets for mounting the header didnt lign up..

I bought a Megan racing stainless header for my Civic EX. Honestly its a good quality header. The welds are fine and the flanges are thick. For the 100bux I paid its fine.

I mainly got it because the stock header/manifold cracked. Which I hear is a common problem with EX's becasue the heat shield keeps all the heat in.

alright folks.. it sounds like quaility vs, quanity... DC is a quality part and brand.. so even though that u bought sumthing cheaper. most likely you'll have better results with money well spent wit the DC..

The DC header is an imitator. Its just a copy of the JDM 98+ ITR header. Carb exemption is good though...
