Default DC header for my SI

If i get the DC header (4:2:1) for my '00 Si will i need new header gaskets or can I use the OEM ones? And just for the hell of it, is the 4:2:1 better then the 4:1 header? I heard that the 4:1 has like more 1hp but loses more torque. I heard that the 4:2:1 loses like 1 hp to 4:1 but gains like 3 0r 4 more lb. ft. of torque. Is this true?

You should prolly get a new header gasket, they are cheap anyways.

Recently put on a 4-1 on my B16A2. Very happy with the performance throughout the revs. Back when DC had dyno plots on their web site, the 4-1 was the clear winner across the board. The 4-2-1 showed little gains over stock, and the graph showed the 4-1 making more low end power than the 4-2-1. The 4-1 made way more power from 4,000 on according to the graphs. Also, I definitely noticed improved part throttle performance. That makes around town driving better. Well that is my $0.02

its safer to get a new head gasket. i mean...when u find out ur old one was bad...and its making alot of noise..u dont want to take it apart again.
