Junk Ex

Ok here goes, I swaped a eg dash with airbags out out of a 95 civic ex(they worked fine in the other car no srs light before swap) to my other 95 civic ex shell that i have now. The wire harness on the car that the dash was going in to was fine, but I can't figure out how to turn off the srs light?If that did'nt make sense ill break it down. I swaped a dash with everthing to another car and now i have a SRS light and yes everthing is hooked up. Bare with me , now one of my first questions is do you have to reset the SRS evertime you unplug it and swap the hole system? and second how many of you run with out airbags? I never thought it was safe but i sopose 10year old airbags prolly arent that safe either. I did search but I can't make sense of all this airbag crap so if anyone has been through the same thing maybe you have advice????
