Dash swap and the cops
Whats up guys had an interesting day today. I went out and picked up a complete integra dash for my EG. It started off with me buying the EG about 2 weeks ago and the interior was completely junk (tan and ugly) so i bought the dash was taking it off today and there was all the security system stuff (i dont have a remote, also didnt know there was a security system on it) so i said **** it and started taking it all out. i end up finding this box wraped in black duck tape with some computer chip like thing running up to the center vent. didnt care so i yanked it out and heard that noise you hear when you pull the plug high pitched to nothing. blah blah going on and next thing i know cops show up and first thing they say excuse me may i see some id blah blah then they ask for the registration to the car which i dont have 
title was sent back to VA to get tags. after about an hour of explaining and trying to find the number from the guy who i bought the car from i call him blah blah cops leave and i havent got anything done to the dash.

Ha ha sorry to hear man. Make sure you get the vin tag off your old dash and rivet it on the new one so you don't have anymore problems with the police.

crazy story.. I had cops all over my car when they couldn't identify my vin on the dash because I had painted it all. Whatever as long as you're straight and nobody wants money!

im guessing it was lojack but it had a cliford security system but yet when i bought it i got no remote or anything. today when i poped the doors off found out it had door popers rigged to a button in the rear wheel well.

you should put the black box back in...maybe its paid for like lifetime or something. just put your info. so if you car gets jacked, its got lojack lol

ehh no need for it car runs and i got all my dash in and working finally.
i think the black thing wa ssome sort of battery it has a good bit of weight for being small
