Dash Install Question
Long story short, i'm swapping a Black Dash/Interior into my 93 ex coupe which came with Tan. I have the entire interior removed and the new put in.. i pulled the dash and took my old harnes out, swapped it into the new black one.. and reinstalled the dash. Go figure, there is no illumination in my cluster. I found a plug that isnt connected to anything.
Problem is, i can't find where to plug it. I would imagine that since eveyrthing else works it must be to the illumination? it's a small plug.. one pin? it's part of the stock harnes.. and it comes out near the cluster.. I've been looking all over and i cant find where its supposed to go..
i also figured i could just put a connector into it and put it to a power.. but if it's actually a ground wouldnt i blow something?
i'd appreciate it if someone could verify that the little white plug is infact the illumination for the dash, and where it goes. TIA
i doubt that it will matter, but it's a H22 swap turbo. (when i did the swap i made my own wire harnes from the engine in, but i dont believe i touched the dash/interior harnes)

Re: Dash Install Question (NY93CivicEx)
when i swapped my dash in my civic i just used the existing harness as i know it worked and also knew roughly where all the plugs were ment to go, if you could take a pic of the connection, i may be able to enlighten you some more on where the connector goes

There is a pic.. i think it works :D hopefully that helps.. the pic was taken from the driver seat... that white plug is coming out next to the cluster above the radio where the vents are. (not saying that is where it is supposed to be.. but thats where it is

click above link and look for ground wire image. it'll show you where the location of the ground plug should be behind the dash. i know it's for a sol but civic should be around the same location. hard to spot at first.

yeh, that is the ground cable, if i remember rightly, there is a piece of metal, that it should just clip on to behind the dials.
