damned tps sensor

Default damned tps sensor

i put a new tps on and it still throws the code...could it be the wiring up to the tps? im running a b16 in a 1993 si hatch.....thanx for positive feedback

what code was it? it should be code 7. any others? Make sure you don't mix the TPS plug with another plug, like the MAP sensor, IAT, etc. I did that with mine. other than that, it has to be the wiring.

has anyone re-did the wiring?.....easy.....hard....? im not good with electronics...should i take it somewhere? only code 7 and it is the right plug

very very easy. i hooked up and extended my knock sensor with ease. all you have to know is where it goes to to the ecu.

can i cut the wires where they are kinda ripped and then make the wires longer....
or what?

thats becuase you cant just snap on a tps
u have to adjust it to the right voltage
