damn idle surging and cold start valve on throttle body question
Ok .. i was told my map sensor will **** up my idle .. we unplugged it last night and the car stopped surging from 1K to 2K.. but threw chk engine code. I was also told that because im running a P28 unchipped ECU that could also be the issue..
And I went out this morning and i noticed that the cold start solenoid on the throttle body (obd1) that is connected to the throttle cabel spring was cracked and snapped off .. is it safe to drive.? .. its idling the way it usually does and i really dont think this park works anyways so explain to me please?

1.) has the car always done this? If not, when did it start?
2.) why are you running an unchipped P28 with a B16A swap?

So you know that you have a 100% incorrect ECU and yet you're still wasting our time asking us what's wrong with the car. Nice.
Get back to us when you do the swap properly. If you still have a problem then, we can help you. If not, congratulations.

Shortcuts? Maybe that's why your car is ******* up. Listen to Arch, do things properly, and come back when you have a real problem.
