Default damn car!!

ok..i finally got my d16z6 running in my 95civic coupe...and then i took off the damn distributer...and when i put it back on..it would not start. it just turns over and over...and i know i got my plugs in the right spot..i just dont know what is wrong with it. ne suggestions..thanx

did you put the distributer on exactly how it was on before you took it off? your timing is more then likely off.

im pretty sure that its exactly how it was..what else do u think could be causing this.

timing.... if not that then you may have a bad alternator.

that might be it.cause i had two alternaters..and one of them came off a wrecked car.with same motor..but i dunno. ill just try the other one..and see if it works right. thanx for the advice.

did you force it in? cuz it should only go in one way... remove it turn the little fork and pu tit back in nice and easy

as long as you get it in, it should run. You're car will run within a range of 40 degrees of ignition timing. Have someone crank it with a timing light and see if you have spark
