Damaged front bumper support
I looked at a 92 Civic CX today. It was pretty clean except for a large crack in the front bumper. Upon investigation under the hood, I noticed the front bumper support was pushed back like a V in the center about 3" or so. It was pushing the AC fan and the Radiator back too. Would this cause any frame damage? Should I walk away from a mostly clean EG Hatchie?
I will be replacing the radiator because it will be an h22 hatch and the AC fan will be removed as well as AC...
I know I can pick up a front bumper support pretty easily. Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks
Let me know!

Re: Damaged front bumper support (93preludeh22)
Bumpers and supports are really easy to replace and if you are getting a new radiator and taking out the AC, it will be just fine. That stuff is superficial, especially if you are going to replace it anyways. I hope you get a sweet deal since it is damaged. Good luck

make sure the bend in the support didnt pull the the frame points (where it mounts) inward.
I bet it did, and yes I would walk away from it unless you have the tools to fix it.

Re: (93preludeh22)
Well, the points where the front rebar mounts to the frame isn't really thick metal.. Can't it just be bent right back into place?

The surrounding area is all the radiator support. But where the impact bar mounts is the front of the bulkhead either on the subframe or on the pannels.

I can't remember which specifically.
So if you have the middle of the bar pusshingin like a V you need to inspect where it mounts / areas around that for pulls / stretches / crunches etc.
Even then the only way to really know would be to put it on a straightener machine.
Is this a daily driver? for daily driving I wouldnt be crazy about it - but it is definatly fixable.
If it's a track car then put some steel tubing in to reinforce the area.
