Default d16z6 Will not fully start.

i have a 1993 honda civic coupe dx with a d16z6 engine. I changed out the head gasket with Fel-Pro from autozone. then when i finished it wouldnt start. It cranks when trying to turn on but it does not fully start. Also my battery isnt that good i have to keep jumping it when i try to turn it on. im thinking its the starter or alternator and battery. Cylinders 3 and 4 werent firing. what could be the cause of this? help me i need the car. thanks!

most likely, your cam timing is off.
check to see if your cam is at tdc when your crank is.

Third (or fourth, whatever) the timing. Triple-check that, it sounds like your timing's off.
