60': 2.3
1/4: 16.30
mph: 84.6

i have the same engine and run a low 15 in my hatch. that engine just doesn't do well in a heavier car like yours. if you have a 5th gen then you need to go with a b-series engine, to give you the torque. sell the one you have to an older hatch owner. guys like me can throw some boost on them and run them in our light cars down to the low mid 14's

If you launched alittle higher RPM and got out of the whole alittle quicker it'd help. Do you have 1/8 ET or MPH.

I have the same eninge in my Si and pull somewhere in the low 15's 1/4wise. Not exactly sure, only run the 1/8th.

An Odyssey runs a 15.3??

In that case I guess it's faster than a stock B16 in my coupe would be too.

with an EF hatch and a turbo Z6, you should be seeing low-mid 13's easily. A buddy of mine with a D16A6 in his 90 hatch and a custom turbo kit running 10 psi ran a 13.7 on street tires. Imagine the extra air flow from the z6 at those high revs and 10psi

About your time...it seems a little slow. Your 60 foots weren't TOO bad, but you trap speed should be higher. What size rims are you running?? ON a stock 94 Si with ported head, intake, exhaust and no spare tire, I ran a 15.5 @88 mph 1 1/2 years ago

I have a Z6 swap into my 92 CX, and It runs great. My first attempt with my swap i got a 15.9.

All i had was intake, exhaust, and a SR20 Fuel pump.

For a baseline to help I ran a 15.2 in a 5th gen dx hatch with a DC header and apexi cat back stock cat. On almost bald 13 stock steelies. And a weight tag of 2130 with me in the car I weight 180. not to far from sea level as I live in the midwest.

Maybe that can help you figure it out. Where you close to sea level???

Were you at Pacific Raceways? If so, did they attemp to make the track any better?

I've ran my 93 CX w/ a D16Z6 there last summer, 15.8 was my best.

??? The Z6 doesn't "own" the Y8 anyday. The Y8 has a stronger tranny, better intake manifold, better exhaust manifold, a slightly more aggressive cam, and higher compression. The Z6 on the other hand supposably has a better flowing head, and the glorious P28. I don't think I would call that being "owned"

Don't forget even though I personally have ownly owned two d16z6 that they have a weakness in rod bearings.

The y8 from what I've seen solved this weak link.
