d16z6 vlave cover
I'm pretty sure i know the answer to my own question , just looking for some supportive info. I have a 93 d16z6 the vlave cover is the plain black valve cover, dosent say vtec or anything just honda, if i buy the valve cover from a 94, 95 will it fit? i'm assuming no becuase the spark plugs holes are on opposite sides but maybe it will work? anyone tried this before?

my motor has the valve cover on the right in the pic above. the stamp on my motor says d16z6 so i now its teh right motor.

thats a sad d15 i know what a d15 valve cover looks like, I just swaped the d16z6 in and took out the d15b7.

yes it would, maybe this guy is just confused, the picture obviously shows that the right is 1.5 liter and left is 1.6
and how da heck do you clean a d15 motor like that!?

if the plug holes are on the firewall side, then you don't have the Z6 head on there. You sure it's a vtec head and not just a non vtec head on the Z6 block??? Looks for the vtec selenoid

Is it possible you got d16 bottom end with d15 head?? do you have picture of your motor?? Does it have vtec solenoid?
