Re: d16z6 turbo... (peter_vang)
t4 turbo is too big on a stock sohc just stick with a small t3 fast spooling and hits full boost quick...injector and fuel pump and find someone that can chip an ecu for uberdata chrome or whatever...dont run a fmu or missing link

Yeah, you're fine w/ the OEM fuel pump at 5 or 6 psi...

187whp @ 5psi on a stock Z6, eh?
Nice.

It might, Ive seen pretty much stock z6's (other than fuel rails, injectors, and exhaust, and possibly an intake manifold) put down ~200whp at 10 psi.

Thats a little high, I'd say 6 psi on a d16z6 averages ~170whp/145tq

No, it is fine. 225whp on a sohc stock block is fine as long as the tune is good. Quit looking at it in terms of psi. WHP is what decides if the motor will blow.

It's fine.
There is a lot of misinformation here. People need to get the 'psi' ricer b.s. out of this thread. You can run 1182763264214242848x1930^234 psi. There are a lot of variables. Turbo size, a/f ratio, ect..
