d16z6 swapped EG having trouble starting when it's cold.
What's going on guys? My buddy has a 94 civic CX with a d16z6 swap. When he first starts the car after it's been sitting overnight the car cranks over but doesn't start until the 4th of 5th time of cranking. When it DOES start it runs VERY rough. When you try to give it gas it tries to die or does die. The car does not run right until the car is completely warmed up to temp. It seems like it's not getting enough fuel at startup until the car is warmed. The problem started when we swapped the 1 wire o2 to the 4 wire o2 for the z6. We have been over the wiring 3 or 4 times. We know the 4 wire o2 works. Any other information that anyone might have would be helpful. Thanks.

it's cold start. My buddy was having the same problem on his JDM LS he had in his 93 hatch. the motor did not have cold start on the head so it took time to for it to run right because he also had to crank it over many times for it to start and then could not touch the gas until it warmed up. I believe that cold start is suppose to be on your dizzy side of your head so look into it a little more but its for sure that ok dude
