d16z6 motor with cable trans?

bought a d16z6 motor and came with cable trans. But my del sol does not have the setup for cable trans. so can i put on my d15b7 hydro trans for now until i trade/buy a d16z6 hydro trans? and if so, does anyone have one? the d16z6 trans came with a stage two clutch that i now have on my d15b7 trans. Thanks.

Yes, that can be done. Just bolt it on.
