k well thats odd....lol i would say to clean your fitv. could be dirty and not opening properly.....the fitv controls your idle at start up to aid in faster warm-up and to keep the engine at a higher idle (as to not let it stall). it reads and acts off coolant temp. as the coolant gets hotter....the valve shuts and cuts off the extra by-passing air into your engine....thus lowering your idle. FITV=Fast Idle Thermo Valve
