Re: (egcoupe94)
Edelbrock. Just save your money and get that bad ass turbo kit that they sell. it comes with everything and then some. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

yeah, i got a friend that works for Advanced Auto Parts and if he can get me the 20% discount that he gets, then I would defintely get that, how big of a turbo does it come with?

uh...i personaly am going to go s2 all out..

ok, i just looked on the edelbrock site, and it comes with a Garrett T28 ball bearing turbo. but is the performer x IM better than the Victor X, the kit comes with the performer X

Re: (egcoupe94)
T28 is still an excellent turbo. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Maybe I was thinking of an upgrade package that people were doing during a group buy a while ago. I dunno, but someone mentioned that the inclusion of the "disco potato" would make the Edelbrock kit the best value ever. I'm not a turbo guy so I'm not sure, but that's what I was told https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif. |
Re: (egcoupe94)
Edelbrock only has a PerformerX manifold for the D16Z6. Its meant for street cars, N/A and boosted applications alike.
The fitment of the Edelbrock manifold is far superior than the Skunk2 manifold. The turbo with the Edelbrock civic kits is a GT28R turbo, the GT28RS (disco potato) comes with the B16 and B18 turbo kits. |
sounds like Marauder knows his shit, i didnt know the victor x wasn't made for a z6. i guess i have learned something today
