d16z6 head removal
is it possible to remove the head on a d16z6 with hand tools?
i think its a 14mm socket, or else 12 mm.. i was trying to remove the bolts that connect the head to the block.. they are extremely tight. i was almost spinning the whole engine on the ground trying to remove it... do i need air tools?

just get a breaker bar...or a long pole. I used a torque wrench though....it was a cheapy one i bought from auto zone. It worked though.

turn the engine on its side. if the intake manifold is off, just lay down some 2x4's and let it down on those.
Then just get a breaker and pop thos bolts loose. Only thing you need to do is remove a couple hoses, timing belt, and wiring
yes, the head bolts have 14mm heads on them, intake has 12's
